Dr. Margaret Ekroth to join WCHC Outreach Clinic
Washington County Hospital and Clinics (WCHC) is excited to partner with Physicians' Clinic of Iowa (PCI) provider, Dr. Margaret Ekroth, to bring urology services to the WCHC Outreach Clinic. Dr. Ekroth will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to WCHC, further enhancing the hospital's commitment to providing exceptional care to the community.
Dr. Ekroth completed her medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. She then pursued specialized training in urologic surgery through a residency program at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Ekroth holds certification from the American Board of Urology and is also an active member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Women in Urology, demonstrating her commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in the field.

Dr. Ekroth's expertise spans a wide range of urological conditions and treatments, including but not limited to:
- Diagnosis and treatment of prostate conditions
- Management of urinary tract infections
- Surgical interventions for kidney stones
- Treatment of urinary incontinence
- Screening and management of urological cancers
Dr. Ekroth will see patients at WCHC’s Outreach Clinic (Entrance #1) every Wednesday beginning April 10th and in the near future will provide Urology procedures. Patients can schedule appointments with Dr. Ekroth at WCHC by calling 319-359-1286.
